Our Salisbury-based company, with 10 Ford dealerships, was also shortlisted in the website category for the second year running.
The judges were won over by the Group's innovative parts recycling operation for the inaugural MT Green Dealer award.
The award was presented to Elaine Clark, group parts marketing manager, by Jake Humphrey, front man for the BBC's Formula 1 coverage, at the Grosvenor Hotel in London on 13 July.
Earlier this year, Foray bought around £1 million in obsolete parts, including RS components, from Ford and placed them in its National Clearance Centre, which sells parts for current and past Fords worldwide through www.fordpartsuk.com and is linked to Foray's Ford Parts UK operation.
Chris Yoxon, managing director of Foray Group, said parts sales made a significant contribution to the group's turnover last year, which rose by around 30 per cent to £121 million.
"Aftersales, which includes service, body shop, and parts, contributed more than £30 million to the group's income in 2010, a very significant amount," added Mr Yoxon.
"Innovative schemes such as the NCC and its purchase of Ford's obsolete parts stock help us to keep ahead of competitors. People can visit our website and browse all our parts stock, place an order, and be confident it will be despatched on the next working day.
"The internet literally opens the whole world to us and we get regular orders from the US and Canada. The success of NCC and Ford Parts UK is down to the hard work and lateral thinking of aftersales director Howard Jenkins and his team – Howard is adept at not only spotting opportunities but implementing them, too."
